Sorry about my Absence

This past week has been hell, I moved into a new home and before I moved I had the comcast ppl come over to make sure my home was ready so there would be no down time as my work is done over the internet. The comcast represantive walked through my new home, and seemed to inspect some stuff and told me "yep once you move just give us a call and we'll switch the service over, you're good to go as far as wiring is"

Hearing this I assumed he was right, i mean he is the comcast man after all! so moving day comes and goes, I'm all settled in and I hook up all my cable boxes and my modem etc..  I make the phone call to comcast and they tell me my service is all switched over and to enjoy it. So after turning everything on I'm surprised that NONE of it works. I quickly make another call to the comcast company and they insist i go through all this bullshit ass troubleshooting, which I've already done myself and then pretty much call me a dumbass because the trouble shooting doesnt work. To make matters wrst they can't send out a Rep until monday (this was friday) How ppissed I was!

Come monday, the rep (which they charged me for having here btw) tells me my home was only wired for sattelite service and not comcast service >.< he fixes the shit and hands me a bill. Fuck you comcast!

TLDR, Comcast sucks and made me pay for their errors.

ooohhhhh Sony, You Mad?

So I've been keeping up with the ps3 jailbreak info etc and it seems Sony has been doing the same haha

They recently filed a lawsuit targeting the makers of the jailbreak program, even quoting the infamous iphone hacks and  calculator hack lol

In an update to the court action against the owners of PSJAILBREAK, I have gotten all the possible recent court documents that are available right now at much personal cost to myself (money for documents), but I thought it would serve the public good to see what the Sony legal dogs are up to.

In these boring legal filings by Sony, it now covers not just PSJailbreak, but also names PSGroove, PSFreedom, OpenPSJailbreak, and they have filed printouts from various blogs, forums, and sites like PS3NEWS with comments and tutorials people have been writing up on how to use these various programs. They even mention of course the phone ports & TI84 calc. hacks.

Sony is using this information, to get the courts to order up faster service, to force the various ISP', Domain Register's, and Web Hosting Services to give up the personal info on their clients so that can serve more court papers on those people, and issue DMCA takedown notices to shut down various sites.

So for the Judge has only granted one order so far, this one is directed to YAHOO! to within 5 business days to turn over all the information they have on a "vladgazoune@yahoo.com", all IP's he used to access his mail, his personal info stored by Yahoo, his email of course, and other logs.

This E-Mail address is the one that was used to rent the mail-drop box in Texas used by http://shoppsjailbreak.com as their virtual office for orders, shipments, registering the domain name, etc.

Recently, that above name site which also goes under the company name of Zoomba stop using the ".com" domain and now is operating under a http://shoppsjailbreak.net domain. -- Plus also the http://psjailbreakcanada.com site which seems to point IP wise to the older site, has suddenly been changed to DOJ/IPR/ICE notice that has been used in the past for "Torrent/Movie" site take-downs!

Anyhow, here is all the public court documents you can read thru them now, and see just what SCEA has been printing out about yourself online, they are asking the court they need to findout the true identify of everyone that sells, makes, offers for sale, or even has just knowledge of the real people behind any project called PSJailbreak, PSGroove, OpenPSJailbreak, PSFreedom.

Don't be surprized if the next few days, you see less sites online, or you find yourself answering the door to a person serving you a Summons to Appear! -- The good reading stuff is the PDF's called Exhibit or Exhibits!

Jailbreak your Ps3... with a PS3 controller!

Allright guys, this is the ULTIMATE in available hacks, if you have a ps3you HAVVE to have a ps3 controller, and as lng as you haven't updated to 4.2 or higher, there is no reason you shouldn't be able to jailbreak your ps3 haha

Jailbreak ps3 - ti84+ edition

Just as i stated in my last post it is possible to jailbreak your ps3 with just a TI84+ Graphing calculator, be warned i don't have one on hand so I haven't tested but here is some video proof that it works.

From what I understand some of the features in this jailbreak are limited as they haven't been ported over yet, but if this is your only source for jailbreaking go for it!

Steps:

Get the modded TI-84 file

Get Backup Manager (Stealth Version DOES NOT WORK FOR THIS)

Right Click on TI-84 modded file, and Send to TI Device

Push APPS button on TI-84, scroll to PS3JB

Unplug PS3, or flip switch off if using a fat PS3 (Mine was stolen hence the slim one)

Plug TI-84 in, hit enter to get to the menu, and press 1 on PSJB app

Press on and then eject, in my case a game was in I forgot about, I just hit eject again, but once should be all that is needed.

Scroll to Game and look for Install PKG files

Insert Flash Drive

Install manager.pkg

Jailbreak ps3 with an old ipod touch!

I don't know about you guys, but ever since i heard about the ability to jailbreak ps3 I've been shitting myself, unfortunately i wasn't willing to pay for a device to jailbreak when I knew there were free alternatives. Although most of these free alternatives require equipment that costs more than the actual jailbreaking device, the trick is to find an alternative that works on something you ALREADY have. At this point in time their exists ports of the jailbreak to HTC phones, iphones, ipod touches (1g only), TI-84+ calculators and other devices. I'm posting the video of the ipod touch because it's what worked for me! if you haven't updated your firmware I'd reccomend you look more into jailbreaking your ps3 and the advantages it presents!
